The old and the new….
Laying on top of my Moog synthesizer is one of the oldest instruments in the world, the flute. It is considered one of the most soothing, healing sounds to the ear, and the soul. For this reason I like to start off with this beautiful instrument.
As a composer I like to challenge the senses by combining instruments in what might be considered non-traditional ways. For my upcoming concert, I have written arrangements that combine the flute with analog synthesizers, cello, violin and guitar.
Hey, we may even do a couple of “cover” tunes.
